If you are making life or career changes, experiencing change in your relationships,
sensing a call to ministry, need to get up and go, but don't know where you're going, then
you need a coach. If you are willing to change one or more areas of your life and are
willing to allow someone to help you through the process, if you know you need to make
changes and do things differently than the way you've done them in the past, then
Welcome to Redemptive Life Coaching!
A coach is someone who does not give advice, tell you what you need to do or solve your
problems for you. A coach recognizes the fact that within every human being God designs
the ability to solve problems. A coach gently encourages you to look at things in different
ways and to see life in a new perspective. A coach helps you to reach goals and to deal with
things in your life that you may be trying to run away from. He or she provides an
atmosphere of accountability and supports you in making changes in your life. Coaching is
not counseling because it does not focus on the past or deal with hurts or trauma from the
past. It looks ahead and forward. Each coaching encounter builds from previous sessions.
*Based on what you and your coach discuss, new goals are set and previous goals are reviewed.
What is the Difference between a Secular Life Coach and a Christian Life Coach?
Many secular coaches and schools combine New Age practices into their program and
teaching. Secular coaching teaches the client to look within themselves for answers to
life's problems. Christian coaching focuses on looking to God for answers. Secular
coaching focuses on the power of man and Christian coaching focuses on the power of
God. It looks to know God's will and timing. Secular coaching focuses on what you want
to do with your life and the goals you want to accomplish. Christian Coaching focuses on
what God wants to accomplish and perform through you.
